Victory Dragon
Dark/Dragon/8/2400/3000
This card can't be Special Summoned. You must sacrifice 3
Dragon Sub-Type Monsters on your Field to Sacrifice Summon this card. If this card reduces your opponent's Life Points
to 0 in a direct attack, this card's controller wins the Match.
Pros
- Wins the MATCH. A match is 3 duels in the tournament rules.
Cons
-Requires the sacrifice of 3 dragons.
-Can't be special summoned in anyway.
-Must be a
direct attack.
-Your opponent's lifepoints MUST be 2400 or less... unless you want to use equips on this monster.
Oh god what a crappy monster.
Read all the cons. Those are some of the most restricting effects in the game.
When you use this monster, the only time you can use it's effect correctly is during an official tournament since most
people don't play matches (lack of time etc...) and that means that this card is relatively worthless. Plus, in an official
tournament, no one would bring a deck with this monster in it. Why you ask? Because NO deck in an official tournament
would allow you to bring out 3 dragon subtypes at any one time.
Ultimate Offering isn't reliable. And while were on that subject, your opponent's lifepoints has to be relatively
low for this monster to work. That means that your late-game. Unless you literally DOMINATED your opponent for
the entire duel, you won't get to use this monster.
With the release of SOD and RDS, Masked Dragon and the Element Dragons, this monster has a chance to be brought out...
but it's near impossible to get a direct attack in... let alone a killing blow. And don't forget. Under some tournament
rules, your opponent can give up at near any time during a duel. This ends the DUEL, and saves the person from a match
loss.
Also remember that this monster cannot be special summoned. Like a Spirit Monster, this card cannot be put on the
field by any means outside of sacrifice summoning it by sacrificing 3 dragon subtypes on the field. No matter what you
do, that's pretty hard.
Oh, and note that this monster has the same attack points as a Jinzo... which is pathetic. Just ignore it's defense
points since it's effect doesn't apply to when your opponent attacks this monster.
The only possible use is within a Mask of Darkness + Time Seal + Tsukiyomi combo... which stalls long enough for you
to bring out 3 dragons and get direct attacks while locking your opponent down...
4/10- Near impossible to use. It's not that I hate dragons or something... it's just that I hate
cards that are the suck. I gave it 4 points just because in a new-generation lock down deck, it's devastating.
