Cyber Pod
Dark/Rock/3/900/900
Reverse: Destroy all monsters on the Field. Each player looks at the
top 5 cards of his or her deck. If any of those cards are level 4 or less monster cards, they are placed on the Field
in mode of his or her choice.
Pros
- Excellent monster destruction
- Refreshes the hand quite well
- Staple of near all decks
with monsters.
Cons
- Refreshes your opponent's field and hand too.
- Because it's a staple, Nobleman of the
Crossout is in wider use now...
Cyber Pod is one of the most playable card in the game today. It doesn't really become situational. It's
effect is the ultimate field and hand refreshers, and despite being a Dark/Rock monster, it fits extremely well with any deck
that likes to have cards in their hand...
The effect is simple. Blow up field. Pick up (not draw) 5 cards and special summon anything that is legal
in face up attack mode or face down defense mode, then the rest go into your hand. No wonder it was banned for the M1
bannings...
This card was obviously brought back thanks to the banning of Black Hole, and the restriction of Tidal Wave, which nearly
crippled the monster-destruction aspects of the game.
The only possible weaknesses of this card is that it can give either player a massive field advantage. The good
side is that early in the game, your hand gains alot of power.
9.5/10- In my opinion, this is one of the strongest, most useful cards in the game. Situational-wise,
even if you don't need this card to save you, it still helps alot, especially if you use decks that require certain monsters
on the field at any given moment.
