Metamol Pod
Earth/Rock/2/700/900
Reverse: Each player discards his or her hand, then draws 5 cards.
Pros
- 100% refreshes the hand
- Very annoying if you do this while your opponent was gathering
cards for a combo
- Devastating in Bounce decks
Cons
- Obviously refreshes both player's hands, so the timing of this card needs to be right on time...
This is my personal favorate. Known as Morphing Jar #1 in english, it is one hell of a rare card apparantly.
Re-released as a DL rare in Japanese, english players has to deal by hunting for it.
This is a hand controller's friend and nightmare. It destroys a hand, and refills it. With the "draw" part
of it's effect, it can end the duel if either player has 4 or less cards on the top of their decks, so you have to be REALLY
careful when setting this monster. Remember, if both players run out of cards at the same time, then its a draw since
the drawing comes simultaniously.
This card's effect can also be a double edged sword however as it provides a big chance that your opponent just got the
hand he/she needed.
The real serious weakness of this card is that its somewhat situational. If you activate this card while both players
are somewhat topdecking, this card saves both players... which is bad. Unlike Pot of Greed, this card gives both players
a refreshing.
Great card for discard decks since it discards the hand, and at the same time reduce your opponent's deck by 5 cards.
Near manditory card for Bounce decks that force cards on your opponent's field back into their hands, especially early game
when the hand is at it's maximum.
6/10- A great, powerful card, but it doesnt directly effect the field, and gives both players a hand
refresh. Like Cyber Pod, this card can work against you heavily.
