PHOENIX GOD OF NEPHTHYS
Fire/Bird/8/2400/1600
When this card is destroyed by a card effect, during your next Standby Phase, you may Special Summon this card to the field. When you successfully Special Summon this card this way, destroy all Magic/Trap cards on the field.

Pros
-Built-in Tempest
-Even more annoying than Vampire Lord
-Good ATK power
-No Special Summon requirements

Cons
-8 star=2 sacrifices
-Will not come back if destroyed in battle...

This card is the cover card of the new set, Flaming Eternity. It is a phoenix. Phoenixs are known to be reborn after they die. When they are reborn, something also happens...

Vampire Lord was one annoying card when it was introduced...This one is more annoying...It doesn't matter if the Phoenix's ashes are removed from the game, it will still return. When it does return, its a free Tempest. With Magic/Trap removal down in the game, Nephthys is a welcome addition to the game. Also, unlike Vampire Lord, its attack power is 2400, allowing it to stand up to most monsters in Battle.

The only things that can get rid of this thing forever are the D.D. Family or Black Core (who uses that?). (Reviving it once from being killed by Battle with another card will restart its resurrection cycle, so thats not "forever".) This card is also an 8 star monster with 2400 attack, which is quite low for a LV8 monster. Also, being a Fire/Bird is usually not a sign of a powerful card as most powerful card were made Light or Dark, Warrior or Magic-User. XD

8/10- This card needs to die to use its Tempest effect. It's pretty annoying to the opponent to deal with as well. It's quite easy to summon it as well...make use of Guiding Hand of Nephthys and recursion to bring it out. Once out, you can even go and kill it on purpose in order to make use of its built-in Tempest.
