Pros
- Can be summoned without fear of the pit traps
- Dragon powerhouse!!
- Can attack twice.

 

Cons
- Need you to sacrafice one dragon to revive.
- Face down cards are a threat to it now adays.
- Oh, look at it's level. Need I say more?

 

I have to say, the minute I saw this card as a newbie (Aprox. 2 weeks before it was released.) I fell in love with this card. I have always been fond of dragons as a child. In my opinion this should be the true rival of BEWD and in my book, it is.

Now, with stats like 2900/2500, and an effect that protects it from traps that target, this can be quite a powerful monster!  Now, I don't know about you but being able to attack twice without fear of certan traps is quite good. Still no APS/Jinzo but that would be asking for too much.

 

Now for the bad side...

 

It's level is high, really high. Once you summon it, make sure it stays there! If not, you will have a hard time getting it back out, especially if you use it in a non-dragon deck. Stick with dragon decks with this one folks, or you'll be sorry. To be honest... I can't think of too much to say with this monster about bad sides... Back him up with APS and equip it with Sword of Vilolation and you have some kind of scary god dragon.

 

[Zero] Topdecking this is as useful as drawing Necros Exodia/Exodia Necross.  2 sacrifce monsters are getting outdated.[Zero]

 

I don't care what some poeple say, Chaos Dragon is still better blah blah, I don't care honestly. I love this dragon and forever will.

[Zero] If you haven't noticed, no one should use Chaos Emperor Dragon in a dragon deck.... unless he/she was stupid... oh wait...[Zero]

 

[Zero] Destruction Ring/Ring of Destruction, Pit Trap/Trap Hole, Bottomless Pit Trap/Bottomless Trap Hole, Reactive Armor/Sakuretsu Armor, Torture Wheel/Nightmare Wheel..... non of them can work against Tyrant Dragon.  Im sure there is alot more out there, but meh.[Zero]

 

8/10- Wow, high rating isn't? I would have given it a 9 but I had to take points off for the fact that you have to sacrafice a dragon to revive it but hey! That's just making it fair. Can only negate some traps but making a dragon APS is TOO FRIGGIN MUCH!!
