As the first essay up, this is a simple working to tell you some of the new general deck listings. After a long
while, the game of Yugioh changes. Most of the time, its the "standards" of the game.
Somethings don't change:
-3 sacrifice monsters in a deck is bad
-Every deck requires Jar of Greed/Pot of Greed.
-40 cards per deck is GOOD.
-Field
Advantage = Good
-Hand Advantage = Great
But some important things, that if you ignore, will get you beat as time goes...
-The "best" ratio in your deck has changed from: [20:15:5] -to- [15:20:5]. ([monsters:magics:traps])
-Two Sacrifice
monsters are old and outdated unless you build a deck around them specifically.
-Equip cards suck
-Magic Cyclinders
has been deemed "unfit" for decks for only negating 1 attack, while being unchainable...
-Using M1 banned cards give others
the right to make fun of you... which seems to be rather popular around the message boards right now.
The "staple" cards that you hear about from other people are, *thanks to me*: [english name version of the Japanese game]
"The Demons System"
The Staple: Pot of Greed
1st Degree: Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, Monster Reborn, Waboku, Mystical Space Typhoon
2nd
Degree: Witch of the Black Forest, Sangan
3nd Degree: Jinzo, Torrential Tribute, Premature Burial, Tribe-Infecting Virus,
Sinister Serpent
4th Degree: Mirror Force, Call of the Haunted, Graceful Charity, Ring of Destruction
5th Degree: Magic
Drain, Vampire Lord
6th Degree: Magic Jammer, Judgment of Anubis
Basically, nothing beats Pot of Greed. Remember, you can add anything you want to any of the degrees, or even add
a few degrees of your own. I was just listing you guys some of the most popular cards in the order of popular use.
