CHAOS SOLDIER -MESSENGER OF CREATION
Light/Warrior/8/3000/2500
This card cannot be Normal Summoned.
Remove 1 Light and Dark Main-Type Monster in your Cemetery from the game to Special Summon this Monster. Once during
your turn, you can choose 1 of the following effects and activate it.
- Remove 1 Monster on the Field from the game.
If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn.
- If this card destroys an opponent's Monster as
a result of Battle, this Monster can attack 1 more time.
Pros
-Removes any monster whether face up or down
-A great beatstick that can attack twice ^_^
Cons
-Can’t be special summoned in any way unless first special summoned by removing a light
and dark type monster from graveyard >_<
-Can’t attack more than twice in one Battle Phase
-Can only use
it’s monster removing effect in mainphase 1
-It is restricted to one per deck
To simply put it is a more kick ass version of Falcon Knight/Hayasube Knight. It also has a great monster removing
effect, which basically no other monster, magic, or trap card can do. Falcon Knight was once and maybe still is a great
beatstick with its double attack effect, but since Surprising Matasa/Mataza the Zapper, then Chaos Soldier came along, more
people started using Chaos Soldier because of its high attack.
One problem is that you can’t use the monster removing effect in your mainphase 2 after you attack because skipping
your Battle Phase to use that effect is a cost not an optional requirement. In other words its either attack twice or
remove a monster with Chaos Soldier so you would have to choose from one. Another flaw in the card is it can’t
defend/protect itself from being destroyed by magic, traps, and monster effects.
7/10- A kick ass monster but it’s flaw in being able to be destroyed by basically all magic, traps,
and monster effects has put Chaos Soldier in a slight disadvantage against monsters like Chaos Emperor Dragon but most monsters
are like that too, so you can’t really do much about it except find ways to protect Chaos Soldier yourself.
