Card Review- Versus Match!
GRAVITY BIND
Permanent Trap
Monsters with a Level of 4 or higher cannot attack.
Pros
-Stops many and almost all the beatdown monsters.
-Good against Gravekeepers
Cons
-Android Psycho Shocker/APS/Jinzo pwns this card.
-Alot of the strongest monster effects in the game aren't based on attacks, and alot the strongest monsters aren't higher
then level 3...
LEVEL RESTRICTION B MAP
Permanent Magic
Change all Level 4 or higher face-up Monsters on the Field to
defense
mode.
Pros
-Stops APS... need I say more?
Cons
-Doesn't stop Magic Canceller/Spell Canceller...
-Alot of the strongest monster effects in the game aren't based on attacks, and alot the strongest monsters aren't higher
then level 3...
Ok, I noticed that alot of players have used Gravity Binds for a long time since they were released. Gravity Bind
created a whole new deck type which crippled so many decks...
... then we have Level Restriction B Map...
Relatively new to the game environment since it was released in the Japanese 309 booster and in the English Ancient
Sanctuary booster.
B Map is a variation that is, in some ways, stronger and more efficient then Gravity Bind.
Ok, lets get the comparisons together:
B Map
-Play it without waiting a full turn first.
-Anti APS
-Makes Beatdown monsters lose the reason why they are beatdown monsters...
-Cannot be used in any chains.
Gravity Bind
-Is a trap. End of statement.
-APS pwns this card
-Keeps the Beatdown monsters in attack mode, which means you have yet another wall to climb over...
-Can surprise your opponent as a trap card.
Thats basically it... B Map overpowers Gravity Bind...
Officially, since APS has been the biggest main game-changing card EVER, anyone who still uses Gravity Bind should
look into the use of B Map. The better thing is, all the new players who can't find Gravity Bind can now find B Map
as easy-to-find commons!
...by the way... no one uses Magic Canceller... and if they do, then oh well O_o;
--/-- No rating today, but the winner of the first Card Review VS match is B Map.
