Vampire Lord
Dark/Undead/5/2000/1500
Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, declare
1 card type (Monster, Magic, or Trap). Your opponent selects 1 card of that type from his/her Deck and sends it to the Graveyard.
Also, when this card is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, it is Special Summoned to the
field during your next Standby Phase.
Pros
- ATK: 2000; pretty decent, I supposed
- Shiny; oo la la...*acting French*
- Discards
any card (Monster., Magic, or Trap) from opponent's deck.
- Cannot die by opponent's card effect (Magic, Monster
Effect, or Trap) or in other words, it comes back next turn
- Umm...he's kinda hot for a Zombie?
- And did I say he
has his own ho? *coughscoughsVAMPIRELADYcoughs*
Cons
- His discarding effect helps hins out the opponent's deck, allowing the opponent to draw better
cards
- Effect gives an upper hand for Chao users because if Vampire Lord's controller (somehow mindlessly) declares "MONSTER",
the opponent can just get a Dark or Light monster, put it in the Graveyard, and then a couple of turns later, BOO-YAH! CHAOS
APPEARS OUTTA NOWHERE AND STARTS POKING FORKS INTO PEOPLE'S ASSES!
- Not so good. Can get killed easily by Goblin
Attack Force, Pimpzo ( Android Psycho Shocker), etc.
- Level. 5 ehh? Not worth sacrificing a monster for a 2000
attack guy. I mean, Pimpzo and Demon Summon have a better reason why for sacrificing a monster.
What my brother told me a few days ago inspired me to write my first review on this guy.
Okay, I used Vampire Lord a couple of times in my duel and it was fun just discarding away my opponent's deck. MWAHAHAHHA!!
Anyways, I really don't have anything against this card. It's a great card, great for like Beat Downs, Zombies, Kaiba-theme,
or any deck with a lot of offense in it. And this card was like 30 bucks when it first came out. See? Good for
the game and profit! ^_^
A few days ago, my brother was really bugging me to play with him and along with his bugging, he told me about Vampire
Lord and how it sucks now. Well, like I said in the Cons section, it's effect of discarding can be a real help for Chaos
users (like myself, heh, heh.) since if the person just blurts out "MONSTER", the opponent can just take out any Dark or Light
and technically, screws the person like hell when the Chao monster comes out. Yes, I've seen that happen.
I was really enlightened and more aware of that fact though I don't play it as much.
Vampire Lord's effect of coming back the next turn when an opponent's card effect is used on it kinda baffles me because
like for an example, my opponent uses Black Hole or Thunder Bolt or whatever to clear my field of my Vampire Lord and brings
out something stronger than it and attacks me directly. When it's my turn, my V. Lord comes and you know the story.
Well, anyways, I don't really duel like crazy but I do now and then so I really can't say much.
Oh yeah, my brother made this joke about Vampire Lord and it was kinda funny at first. I told my friends and some
of them got the joke while others went "Huh?". Well, here it is. I'll give you a hint: It's base on Vampire Lord
and Vampire Lady.
Vampire Lord and his three bitches.
Have fun! And catch me next time! ~_^
6/10- It's an okay card and the effect is fun to use but be careful. There are Chaos people lurking
in the bushes and V. Lord's effect can be used to their advantage. Be careful on that! Bye, bye.
